How to run a P4P board
This is a series of posts I wrote, setting forth my philosophy of how management and staff should run a P4P board. What are my qualifications for opining thus? Well, I was a moderator for the Dallas ASPD forums for a year, which gives some insight into the problems that staff faces, but I don’t claim any “monopoly” on the “truth.” This is one man’s perspective. If you find it persuasive, fine. If not, that’s fine too. The ultimate test of the “right” way to run a P4P board is how the members respond and whether the board meets the owners’ objectives — and the management/staff of any particular P4P board might have very different objectives than mine would be.
