About me
I’m 57 years old, married, and live in Dallas, Texas. My participation in P4P dates back to 1974 or so. Over the years, several different types of experiences — streetwalkers, agencies, massage parlors, independents, studios – in a number of different states. Since 2001, I’ve concentrated mainly on mid-range ($200 – $400) independents, and some agency girls, in Dallas. It’s hard to squirrel away much money for P4P when you’re married.
I was an active participant on ASPD, even helping moderate the Dallas forums for about a year (10/03 – 06/04 and 10/05 – 12/05), but these days I rarely post. I have or had memberships on some other review/discussion boards but don’t (or no longer) participate much there either.
I wrote and posted 70+ reviews of several of the ladies I saw from 2001 through 2007 (many of which disappeared in the August 2005 crash of ASPD), hopefully in a respectful way. These days, I rarely write a review unless the lady specifically requests one. (Some ladies do, because reviews — in general, not specifically mine — can help business in some circumstances.) If she asks, I won’t feel pressured but I’ll probably write one, with no quid pro quo of course, and will try to accommodate her preferences as to discretion. But . . . the review is written because the lady asks for it for the benefit she will receive, but the content of the review is written for the benefit of other prospective clients. I try to provide my honest perception of the session, and the lady has no say in the content of the review. Well, other than general tone (discreet vs. more explicit, for example) or specific mileage that she doesn’t want mentioned to avoid raising expectations.
Some further information about me from an interview by Nia, located here: http://niadarkandlovely.blogspot.com/2007/05/chevalier-on-blogging.html
I consider myself polite, respectful, and a gentleman — at least, that’s what I aspire to — but that’s up to the ladies to judge, I guess.
One of my favorite ladyfriends once told me I made her feel “comfortable” and another said she enjoyed my sense of humor and that I was “low maintenance.” On the other hand, there may be a few here or there who think of me as “Satan’s Spawn.” *shrug*
Although I used to participate quite a bit on ASPD and now am blogging, generally I’m quiet, introverted and not very close to many people; I suspect some people perceive me as aloof or remote or unapproachable. I describe myself as an “opinionated curmudgeon”; a lot of people likely disagree with some or most of the opinions I express. Que sera sera.
And many consider me, shall we say, extremely verbose.
