Second anniversary

Last year, I surveyed the results of the first year of this blog. I just looked again, and the results for the second year are pretty comparable, with some differences that I think don’t really mean what they appear to mean.
- Posts — 263 in year 1 versus 230 in year 2
- Comments – 1,730 (532 by me) in year 1 versus 2,545 (748 by me) in year 2
- Views — 41,513 in year 1 versus 80,037 in year 2
More participation in terms of comments (47% increase) and views (93% increase)? Well, generally that’s a good thing for a blog. But the explanation is almost entirely external and very limited in scope.
