I used to schedule most of my appointments around the lunch hour. It was largely a matter of avoiding unwanted attention. If I took off mid-morning or mid-afternoon, or left work too early, or got home after work too late — it was more noticeable than if I simply took a long lunch hour. And it was longer; if you add 30 minutes travel time each way (since most ladies were not near where I work) to an hour appointment, that’s 2 hours and I still haven’t eaten lunch. (Bringing a sandwich back to my desk would sort of defeat the impression I was trying to give of a long lunch.

Anyway, it worked reasonably well for me. Some of the ladies had incalls in apartments (whether where they lived for real or a separate location for incall only), and some used hotels. I never really thought until recently about the obvious problem with a nooner at a hotel.
