GFE vs. PSE . . . and advertising

Posted by Chevalier on November 12, 2007

A recent question on ASPD by Jayden:

Ok, so this acronym “GFE” is thrown around quite a bit. Most seem to post that this is what they are seeking. And I realize it means different things to different people. But I have noticed a trend that screams quite the opposite, so I am wondering, has “GFE” taken on a whole different meaning since I have been on this board, or am I the one who has it twisted?

To “me” the GFE is the illusion of passion. It is the romance, the DKF [sic], the attention to detail, sheet-gripping/sweaty bodies making love style. It is the touching and the gloating afterwards. This is a give and take type situation.

[snip] Here is the trend I have noticed the last year or so. There are only two types of ads you guys seem to look at anymore. One is the “I’m a hot young 18 y/o spinner” ads (I’m not a guy but I “guess” I can see the fantasy of it) and the other ad is the “I’m your dirty little slut come fu** me” ads.

A few thoughts came to mind.

Another ladyfriend who has disappeared.  Never got back to me concerning a tentative appointment a month ago.  Not posting on the local discussion board.  If she’s still around just lurking, hasn’t read a couple of PM’s I sent her.  Just . . . suddenly gone. :(

(Of course, the disappearance and the reason for it may be well known by lots of other people.  I’m just not as “connected” to the local P4P grapevine as a lot of people.)

Help

An article from last Thursday’s Dallas Morning News:

Dallas police and more than a dozen social service organizations teamed up Wednesday night to combat rampant prostitution at southern Dallas truck stops.

For the second time this year, police and more than 30 volunteers set up a bustling staging area in a lot behind a fast food restaurant along South Lancaster Road near Interstate 20. There, the women were given a choice: commit to a rehabilitation program catering to their needs or face possible jail time for years of criminal activity.
