Starting over
Posted by Chevalier on July 13, 2007
I’ve been blogging for over a year now, over at Geocities/Yahoo 360. The technical problems finally just got to be too much for me, so here I am instead. Hope it works out better. ![]()
I haven’t been able to figure out how to “import” the previous content, so instead I’m just starting over from scratch. I am going to add a quick few posts to re-post, or provide links to, a few posts of particular importantce from the previous blog. Mostly, though, I’ll just leave it there for y’all to go visit. There’s a link to the blog over in my blogroll, if you are so inclined. I’ll be making a final post to point to this location, then turning off the comments.
For those just encountering this for the first time . . . my blog is primarily about “pay for play” (P4P), sometimes referred to as “the hobby.” Gentlemen (mostly) paying ladies for their time and companionship. Those of you familiar with P4P probably are aware of not only advertising sites (such as EROS) but also of review/discussion boards (such as ASPD, TER, AHC, HornDog, YMWV, etc.) P4P is a semi-organized “community” in a way it wasn’t even as recently as 10 years ago. I’ve been a fairly active participant in that, with the vast majority of my participation on ASPD. (I was also a moderator on ASPD, from 10/03 – 06/04 and 10/05 – 12/05.) So the blog has discussed not only my particular experiences but also my general philosophy of P4P and what happens on the boards, primarily ASPD and AHC. I suspect that most people will find only a (small?) subset of the entries here of interest — it will just be a different subset for different people.
I’ve never had a lot of readers, but that’s OK; I enjoy this primarily as a way to express myself. You’re certainly welcome to read, post comments, etc. though.

Thank you for going to WordPress! It is a wonderful blog platform. I need to get FatManHobbyist.com up and running.

It definitely is better than Geocities and Yahoo 360.
